A Dose of Care: PANADO® SHARES A DOSE OF CARE WITH NURSE ZINHLE NDLOVU

Panado® aims to recognise ordinary people who do extraordinary and selfless work in their communities.

There are local heroes in our community that contribute just out of the kindness of their hearts, without expecting anything in return. Nurse Zinhle Ndlvou of KwaZulu-Natal is one such hero.

Through ‘A Dose Of Care’ journey, Panado® recognised and honoured Zinhle for the exceptional work she has done to help learners and families in the area.

Zinhle has a passion for children, particularly the basic needs of children in her community. By organising school shoe drives and accepting donations, she ensures that children have access to school shoes. She has been collaborating with rural Durban schools to ensure that no child attends school barefoot. She is not just a giver, but also a caregiver.

Panado’s® ‘A Dose of Care’ campaign wants to share a dose of care with those who really need it. Together with the Afternoon Express, they’re sharing the work of do-gooders by lifting others and helping alleviate the poverty crisis gripping parts of the country through ‘A Dose Of Care’ journey.

Palesa Tembe, host of Afternoon Express, spent time with Zinhle and saw first-hand the life-changing work she is doing for communities that really struggle with unemployment, poverty and a lack of education.

You truly know somebody has a heart of gold when they jump at the opportunity to nominate their fellow good Samaritan.

When asked to choose someone to receive ‘A Dose Of Care’ matched by Afternoon Express, Zinhle proudly nominated Ayanda Gwaji.

Ayanda performs anticipatory work by assisting HIV-positive youngsters and ensuring that they receive treatment. She also provides food assistance and additional care for the elderly.

She is a remarkable woman who, despite being unemployed, strives to offer those she assists with the highest quality of life possible.

If you are able, share of dose care whenever and wherever you can, because you never know the struggles of the next person and how you could pay forward some joy. There are so many unsung heroes who do so much without expecting anything in return, and that’s precisely what ‘A Dose Of Care’ is about.

As South Africans, we endure a great deal. There are so many unsung heroes who do so much without expecting anything in return, and that’s precisely what ‘A Dose Of Care’ is about.
